We Are Awaken With the Ax
At this exact moment, India is lying in her bed singing Sufjan Stevens (They are Night Zombies!! They Are Neighbours!! They Have Come Back from the Dead!! Ah!!!!) but she doesn't know how to spell Illinois, so she's making it up.
Now, she's told me to get back into bed and that we can't snuggle this morning. She came back downstairs and, with my mom's help, brought me a tray with coffee, Corn Pops, orange juice and pretzels (?).
Have I said recently how much I love being her mom?
I love being her mom.

India is amazing... so are corn pops...
I like her menu. Can she come for a visit??? Maybe we could eat some whoopie pies for dessert, they go great with pretzels:)
mmmmmmm, pretzels. that's my kind of early morning thinking. i had some salt and vinegar potato chips this morning while waiting for the french press to boil. nice.
glad you located some caffeinated. decaf is an abomination.
on further review (and correspondences), i retract my "decaf as a religious abomination" statement. on behalf of the entire republic, i repeat: decaf is not an abomination.
thousand island salad dressing, on the other hand, most certainly is.
Her eyes! Gorgeous!
She's blessed you're her mom.
You're blessed she's your daughter.
And Corn Pops! Hoo -eee!!
What a precious pixie. What a lovely breakfast.
Ah. Can I have an India too please? :)
And hey... thanks for hosting such an interesting discussion last post! I could have talked and talked, but a comment box on a blog is a bit of a lumpy mode of communication for such weighty discussions!
You and me, Cecily.
Shall we get together for tea?
If only.....
Angela, can you work something out that we can all get together in one place at one time - face to face? That'd be so fantastic!
See you side by side, you look so much alike. You are both very lucky ladies to be each other's.
Surprise? SURprise?! That was fantastic Angela. Thanks heaps. You made my day. :)
Ah, some slang? I'm buggered? Australia speak for very, very, very tired. Only in Australia would we take such a word and turn it into something else... or do you say it that way in Canada too?
I wish someone would bring me OJ and pretzels in bed.
