I'm thankful
1. For the way the morning looked like it had been painted with a matching colour scheme, all pale blue sky, snow and naked trees.
2. That today India asked me if planes had nests, "because then they would always have a safe landing."
3. For longing.
No.
That's a lie. I am not thankful for longing, just the truth it's brought.
